CVH Foundation News:
Your donations help us provide the best of care to our patients

As an independent, not-for-profit organization, the Foundation members work year-round to raise, manage and disburse funds to benefit our local health care.

Setting the PACE

The first annual 5K Poker Walk, held by the Foundation on Saturday, September 21, was a huge success. If you chose to sleep late that day instead of participating you missed a lot of fun! With 137 registered walkers, 5 sponsors, and 13 contributors, $4,744 was raised.

The walkers with the three best poker hands received donated prizes of: a dinner for two at Anthony's Wood Fire Grill, Everett; a gift certificate for New Balance shoes from Little Deby's Footwear, Arlington; and a baseball autographed by Mariner's center fielder, Mike Cameron. Another 21 participants were lucky winners in the raffle drawing.

The Foundation would like to thank the following event donors:

Tree of Reflections

Tree of Reflections

This year, the Foundation will conduct the 14th annual Tree of Reflections. This fundraiser features a beautiful holiday tree in the Cascade Valley Hospital lobby that donors can help decorate through purchasing ornaments.

A gift of $10 purchases an ornament with a tag indicating the donor and recipient. For a $20 donation, elegant embellishments are added to the ornament.

These ornaments may represent a tribute or memorial to someone special in your life. You might honor an employee, acknowledge a friendship, or just convey holiday greetings. After the holidays, the ornament will be sent to the honoree or given to the donor.

Over the years, the Tree of Reflections has helped raise funds for the Emergency Department, Family Birthing Center, Senior Services, and most recently a new mobile x-ray system for the Radiology Department.

Won't you please help the Foundation in its efforts by contributing your tax-deductible donation?
